This event highlights the work of women in the field of design. We speak of this discipline in its broadest sense, as we invited not only designers, but also architects, curators, and theorists.
All of these women carry out remarkable work and deserve greater visibility. It is important to keep in mind that they often operate in fields that are still strongly perceived as male-dominated.
It is clear that today women remain underrepresented in general, and particularly within the fields of art and design. This led us to ask an essential question: Where are the women we do not see in history books, in the media, or in the teaching of our disciplines?
We wanted to bring them to the forefront and give them a voice.
