Blue Moon is a rug commissioned by Apolline Vranken and Thomas Kawam for their home. We conceived this project in close collaboration with them, drawing inspiration from their Art Nouveau interior, adorned with beautiful natural wood door frames. We executed a gradient work in inverted symmetry, adding a touch of color. The blue stands out and defines the rug with a bold circle, breaking free from the conventional rectangular form. Additionally, a play of vertical and horizontal lines adds rhythm to the design.

Blue Moon evokes a moment poised between twilight and night.
