Amarrées – AuCharbon
One year after the opening of the collective workshop, Au Charbon opens its windows onto the Canal with the exhibition Amarrées.
Seventeen individuals have dropped anchor in the same harbor, along one of Brussels’ main arteries. For a year now, their practices have existed side by side, fostering collaboration, shared knowledge, and the pooling of tools.
Like sensitive variations that collide and drift with the waves, Au Charbon navigates and moors itself through the experiments and dialogues of its residents.
Amarrées is an invitation to discover the emergence of crafts and practices that resonate in harmony. Earth, wood, ceramics, textiles, hemp, leather, plaster, reuse: on the dock, a subtle composition of materials rising to the surface, carried by the rhythm of the current.
